so, this is how a blog is like. wonder why it is that i never really thought to do one before... was it my stubbornness that kept my nose sniffing the air in disdain for the plain commonness of the concept of a blog? Am i so unique and special that i simply couldn't bear to be part of this... this... banal voyeurism?

now that i'm older (and hopefully wiser), i realise that i have been unfairly unfair (this horrible use of vocabulary is deliberate) to this humble internet tool known as the blog. instead, i should celebrate it, for it now allows me to broadcast my thoughts to the world! finally, i have the audience that i rightly deserve! my loyal subjects, lend me your ears!!! (cue rotten tomatoes and eggs)

except, other than this proclamation that i finally have an account set up, i am like an empty vessal at the moment. no thoughts, no opinions, just a chest full of self importance and smugness.
